ASK THE MUTTERERS

What makes them acceptable now we are old enough?

Why are we cautioned not to make derogatory remarks about babies or little ones, but when it’s an adult we do so with impunity.
Society has taught us not to describe a baby as ugly, but when two adults are having a dispute they curse out recurrently on each other,  totally maligning the physique of each other.
What makes them acceptable now we are old enough?
Childhood vs Adulthood
Also, some societal ills we tell children not to do indulge in like talking to strangers on the road, using swear words, collecting money or food from neighbours, taking alcohol etc. but adults do so why?
What makes them acceptable now we are old enough? Is it that once we attain a certain age, morals and restrictions don’t serve anymore?

I think its because as adults we are take full responsibility of whatever it is we do or say and we are fully aware of whatever it is we say or do, while for the kids its because they are not fully aware of the a lot repercussions.
